Frequently Asked Questions

What is ear stapling?

A tiny surgical stainless steel staple is positioned in one of two specific points.

The staple is non-invasive and is placed in the inner cartilage of the ear targeting ear
reflex points to target weight loss, stop smoking, stress and tension relief, and headaches, and
neck and back pain. The staples also provide relief with IBS, Acid Reflux, and an increase energy.

How Does the Staple Work?

The staple works by applying pressure to the ear reflex points in the ear.

An Acupuncture Locator is used to find “your” strongest stomach, and lung point.

For "Weight loss" it sends a signal
to the brain, and endorphins are released telling you
that you are satisfied when you eat. You get full a lot faster, and it also eliminates cravings
for food, sugar cravings, and gives your body an abundant thirst for water.

For "Smoking," the staple works by applying
pressure to the ear reflex point in the ear, but
in a different spot than for weight loss. It also sends a signal to the brain decreasing your
cravings for a cigarette, and giving you a very foul, and nasty taste when you do try and smoke.

How Long Does It Last?
Staples last 2-3 months. Everyone is different in how their body reacts to Acupuncture. We
recommend  4-5 days before replacing.
You are provided a remover at your
stapling session, and
instructed on
how to use it.

What Is the Average Weight Loss?

Women, 4-8 pounds a week and men 7-12 pounds a week. These are real facts based on our
feedback from our clients, and personal experiences of our staff.

These results can not be seen without using an Acupuncture locator!

We have a 95% success rate with our clients for weight loss, and 85% for smoking.

 Does It Hurt?

It is compared to having your ears pierced. We use a numbing agent to help.
It is a little pinch, and then subsides after a couple minutes.

One Staple versus Two?

This is a form of Acupuncture, and one ear is stronger than the other,

therefore having both done is essential to success. You must have both done.

What are the risks?

With proper care of the staple there are limited risks involved. As with any
piercing there is a risk of infection associated. We will teach you how to properly
care for your staples to prevent infection
during aftercare. Aside from
the daily cleaning you will do, keeping your hands clean, and not touching
your staples
is first and foremost to the prevention of infection.

How to care for your staples?

We recommend that you keep your staples clean twice a day with the ear care solution
provided to you. We provide more extensive details, including a copy of your care instructions,
and a remover at the time of your appointment.
